Sunset Rust Handwoven Single Ikkat Silk
Sunset Rust Handwoven Single Ikkat Silk
With a burnished rust toned palette featuring geometric spiral patterns, complemented by broad gold and purple borders, this handwoven pure silk saree embodies the nostalgic sophistication of vivid colours from the early aughts that we so admired.
Renowned for its gorgeous geometric designs with natural motifs which vary from district to district, as well as for their religious significance, the Ikkat tradition of weaving in India is a centuries old practice. Traditionally, each saree features a combination of iconic borders and motifs symbolising the natural or religious environment of the region.
Our Ikkat sarees make for the perfect easy, breezy wear. Whether layered under other pieces for the winter festivities, or worn with a simple blouse for the warmer climates, these handwoven sarees are as durable as they are versatile. Traditional handloom, modern sensibilities.
Note*: We try our best to photograph each of our sarees in a diverse array of lighting so as to show you, our customer, the different ways in which handloom might appear to the eye under natural light, artificial light, white light, yellow light, etc. Slight discrepancies might still arise in the colour of the fabric due to the nature of handloom weaving despite our utmost efforts to address it.
Note**: The blouse piece is attached to the saree. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
